Your Okanagan golf Guide

Offering the longest golf season in Canada due to exceptional sunlight and dry conditions, the Okanagan Valley offers an abundance of spectacular golf courses. Featuring phenomenal scenery, challenging landscape, and relaxing play, there are numerous courses to choose from. From championship to recreational, and rates reflecting the same, here are the courses to visit in the Okanagan Valley.

Black Mountain Golf Course

Located roughly 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna, Black Mountain Golf Course is a par-71, 18-hole championship golf course offering scenic views of the Okanagan Valley. Green fees from $45 to $99.

Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club

Nestled in the residential neighbourhood of South Kelowna. Gallagher’s Canyon is home to a par-32, 9-hole course, The Pinnacle Course, and a par-72, 18-hole executive golf course. Green fees range from $40 to $135.

Harvest Golf Club

Designed by golf course architect, Graham Cook, The Harvest is a luxury championship 18-hole golf course located in East Kelowna. Green fees range from $55 to $140.

Kelowna Golf and Country Club

Semi-private and located in Glenmore, the Kelowna Golf and Country Club welcomes members and non-members alike. Considered a challenging and traditionally designed course, green fees range from $55 to $98.

Kelowna Springs Golf Club

Located near the International Airport, Kelowna Springs is a semi-private golf club. Designed by Golf Course Architect, Les Furber, the club plays host to events like tournaments and ladies and men's nights. Green fees range from $49 to $92.

Michaelbrook Ranch Golf Club

A par 63, 18-hole, mid-length golf course, Michaelbrook Ranch is located in the Lower Mission. With a relaxing atmosphere, the club is welcoming yet challenging too. Green fees range from $26 to $38.

Mission Creek Golf Club

Located in the heart of KLO and set adjacent to a greenway, Mission Creek Golf Club is a mid-length 18-hole golf course. With staggered tee-off- play can be challenging or kind to most golfers. Green fees range from $20 to $37.

Okanagan Golf Course - The Bear

Built among the forested hills of the Okanagan Valley, The Bear at Okanagan Golf course is one of the two available courses here. Designed by Nicklaus Designs, the course stretches 6,885 yards in total. Green fees range from $40 to $135.

Predator Course at Predator Ridge

Rated 4.5 by Golf Digest, and ranked as one of Rolex’s World’s Top 1000 Golf Courses, The Predator Course is easily one of the best Okanagan Golf Courses. Designed by Les Furber, Predator offers a challenge for every level of player. Green fees range from $125 to $180.

Ridge Course at Predator Ridge

Taking advantage of the natural terrain, The Ridge Course at Predator Ridge offers phenomenal views and rolling fairways. Par 72, the Ridge Course is rated 9.5 by ScoreGolf Masterpiece. Green fees range from $125 to $180.

Shadow Ridge Golf Club

Known to make golf easy, Shadow Ridge is an easy to walk and affordable golf course located adjacent to the Kelowna International Airport. Staff are professional, friendly and fun. Green fees range from $29 to $44.

Shannon Lake Golf Course

Located in West Kelowna and situated close to Shannon Lake, the 18 hole course has moderation elevation changes, resulting in challenging play for most players. Following a round, golfers enjoy stunning lake views from Courses Restaurant. Green fees range from $34 to $89.

Summerland Golf and Country Club

With views of the Okanagan Valley and built on the Paradise Flats, Summerland Golf & Country Club is a bit of a hidden gem. The front nine features flat terrain with the contrasting back nine developed over rolling fairways and larger elevation changes. Green fees range from $35 to $75.

Sunset Ranch Golf and Country Club

Only minutes from Kelowna’s International Airport, Sunset Ranch features rolling terrain, phenomenal vistas and challenging golf. Voted “Golf Digest’s Best Places to Play”, 2009, Sunset Ranch is one of the Okanagan’s best golf courses. Green fees range from $35 to $94.

The Pinnacle at Gallagher’s Canyon

An executive 9-hole, par 32 course, The Pinnacle is perfect for beginners learning to the play the game. Known to be rugged and refined, Gallagher’s is lined by the forest and perched alongside rocky bluffs. Green fees $29 to $42.

The Quail at Okanagan Golf Club

Designed by golf course architect, Les Furber, the Quail is a par 72, 18-hole championship course. With significant elevation changes, the 6,794 offers a challenging to even the most advanced golfer. Green fees range from $40 to $135.

Tower Ranch Golf Club

Offering valley vistas including rolling hills and lush vineyards, Tower Ranch provides challenging play and a scenic experience. Designed by Thomas McBroom, Tower Ranch is located 21 minutes from downtown Kelowna. Green fees range from $69 to $139.

Two Eagles Golf Course

Immersed in a residential neighbourhood in Westbank, Two Eagles Golf Courses is family friendly offering special camps and programs for juniors. Set above Okanagan Lake, the course offers beautiful views with gentle sloping landscape. Green fees range from $28 to $55.
