Course Introduction and History

Opened in 1991, this Kelowna golf course has become one of the best public courses in Canada. Designed by Les Furber, the course provides just the right amount of challenge for players at any level. You can be sure to find the perfect experience here since the course adds an amazing view to its challenges. This course contains the Osprey and Red Tail nines. It begins with three par-four holes and the farther you get into the course, the more surprises you'll find waiting for you. You'll find links-style bunkering, elevated greens and bunker framed meadows of the classic type.

Amenities and Services

Playing golf at the Predator course can offer you much more than just a game. Here, you can take advantage of the many amenities the resort has to offer. One such amenity is the fitness centre, where you will find a lap pool, amazing equipment, and a variety of classes. As far as classes go, you can choose from yoga, cycle circuit/spin, stretch and core, and others. If, on the other hand, you'd like to relax, the KurSpa is waiting for you. There, you'll find as many as seven aromatherapy saunas and steam rooms. Hiking and taking walks can also be an amazing experience at this resort, and you'll find more than 14 km of perfectly maintained trails. Immerse yourself in what nature has to offer you, and after consuming all that energy, pay a visit to the Commonage Market where you'll find fresh food including sandwiches and groceries. You'll also be able to get your hands on specialty coffee, delicacies, and even sundry produce.

Getting a good night's sleep has never been as easy as it is at this resort. Moreover, you'll be able to get much more than a good night's sleep here: you'll feel as comfortable as you are at home. The Predator Ridge Lodge lets you choose between studios, or one or two-bedroom apartments. These come with their own kitchen and a balcony, which lets you take in the beautiful view. If privacy is what you want, you'll find it at the Peregrine Cottages, which come with two rooms. Lastly, you can rejoice in all luxury has to offer you in the Falcon Point villas.

The shop offers you the opportunity to purchase brand name items, including equipment, footwear, apparel, and accessories for the sport. The clothing lines are always being changed to match the season and bring a breath of freshness. This shop is also the only outlet that is authorized to sell Lululemon in North Okanagan.

Should you want to learn how to play the game, there are lessons and clinics being offered. In addition, there are programs for those who simply want to fine-tune their abilities. These individuals can also choose to practice on their own. As far as lessons go, all Academy clinics cost $35 for drop-ins, or $100 for a 4-pack. For Juniors, however, the price drops down to $15 for a drop in and $60 for 5 packs. The practice facility offers an amazing opportunity for skill improvement. Having been redesigned by Doug Carrick, it now offers a 45 yard teeing area and a 20,000 square foot putting green. You can also find a fairway that offers players the opportunity to practice shots from as far away as 50 yards. Plus, there's a short grass area, which allows players to practice their chip shots from both sand bunkers and a putting green.

What Makes the Predator Course Special

The Predator course has proven itself time and time again by winning countless awards. Opened in 1991, it has already hosted the World Skins Game twice. In addition, it has acquired a 4.5 rating in Golf Digest and has been included in the Rolex World's Top 1000 Golf courses. The Vancouver Sun has voted it the Best BC Golf Course, and it has also placed 9th in the Best Public Courses in Canada list.

Anyone who plays the Predator course is sure to become a better golfer, and have an amazing overall experience as well. Enjoy all the amenities offered by the resort to make your stay complete.
